Synchronize Mobile Conference Calls with Push Alerts
Callvine's iPhone conferencing app not only makes mobile conference calling easy with its intuitive, user-friendly interface, but also efficient with its ability to synchronize group members for upcoming calls. By leveraging push notification technology within mobile Apple devices, Callvine sends reminder alerts to the conference participants before a meeting begins and at the time of the meeting start. This kind of efficiency will reduce those all-to-familiar wasted minutes while waiting for everyone to join the call.
For scheduled meetings, push notification reminders are ordinarily sent 10 minutes prior to the call starting and then at the time of the call. Callvine users that immediately join at the time of the second alert will all be placed into the call within seconds of the meeting start time - avoiding wasted time and improving productivity.
For instant calls, the push alerts will be immediately synchronized from the host while participants that are not Callvine users will be texted from the app at the same start time. Those participants will receive the dial-in number and Conference ID to immediately join the call from any phone.
The quality and convenience of mobile iPhone HD conference calls is not just limited to handheld devices. Users who have downloaded the Callvine mobile conferencing app can also control and create conferences with ease from their personal or office computer using the Callvine web site. However, the web site will not be able to access your device's address book. If you're in a situation where you don't have access to your regular mobile conference device, you can still join a call by dialing in on any standard phone as long as the conference has been set up in advance through the web site or app.
If you're concerned because you or some of the members of your group aren't mobile Apple device users, Callvine is currently in the process of developing mobile conferencing apps for other platforms. Sign up for VIP updates to find out when your device will be supported.
